The Social Movnik (Pat “National Public Teleradíokompaníâ of Ukraine”) and singer maruv, who won in the national selection at the contest, did not get consent to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest-2019 due to a number of reasons.
Singer Anna Korsun (stage name – maruv) gained victory in the show national hurricane as a result of an honest competition and held the maximum ball from the audience. Her performance is high rated music experts, representatives of show-business and viewers. However, in an artist who will represent Ukraine in the international arena, there is also a commitment: after signing the treaty with Pat “Nstu” at the time of the competition, the artist becomes a cultural ambasadorom of Ukraine and will not only have its own music, but also becomes the viraznikom of the Ukrainian society After the helm of the negotiations of Pat “Nstu” and singer maruv did not find a common decision on the mission of representative of Ukraine at the international Eurovision competition.
Also according to the rules of the contest (p. 2.6) Movnik-Participant Must ensure the nepolítičnij character of the competition. MARUV also react to the news saying:

A few hours before the draw I was asked to participate in the national preselection for “Eurovision-2019”. I agreed and won, and with great pride I was ready to represent my home country – Ukraine at the international song arena.
As previously i said, rejection of concerts in Russia was not a principled thing for us. The main differences have been caused by other paragraphs of the treaty, which, if I sign, become a indentured for me. I am a citizen of Ukraine, I pay taxes and sincerely love Ukraine. But not ready to perform with slogans, turning your stay at the competition in the promo of our politicians. I am a musician, not a bat in the political arena.
I sincerely thank and appreciate everyone who believed in me and voted. And I ask you to accept this fact and not to go to confrontation. This is the given of today. I want to give my creativity without censorship.
