Earlier today, Ukrainian broadcaster UA: PBC published the 16 lucky artists who will take part in the national selection “Vidbir 2020″ for Eurovision 2020.
“Vidbir 2020” will include 2 semi-finals (On the 8th and the 15ht of February 2020) and final (On the 22nd of February 2020). In each semi-final, 8 artists will compete for 4 spots. The final will include 8 participants.
The results will be determined by a combination of 50% public voting and 50% jury voting.
The jury will include 3 members:
Andrii Danylko (Verka Serduchka) who represented Ukraine In Eurovision 2007 and ended as a runner-up
Tina Karol who represented Ukraine in Eurovision 2006 and ended in 6th place
Vitalii Drozdov, director-general of Hit FM radio.

#1. Assol
Assol is 25 years old singer. She is active in the show business from the age of 5. She is best known for her participating in “The Voice of Ukraine 2016” where she was eliminated in the semi-finals. So far, she has released 4 studio albums.
#2. Cloudless
Cloudless is boys trio. The band rose to fame in 2017 when one of their songs became a theme song for a Ukranian TV program.
The band entry is probably the song “Drown Me Down”
#3. David Axelord
David is a famous singer and composer.
#4. Elina Ivashchenko
Elina won 3 music competitions: “The Voice Kids – Ukraine“, the latest season of “X-Factor Ukraine” and the world competition “The Black Sea Games 2018″.
She will perform the song “Get Up”
#5. FO SHO
FO SHO is an African Ukrainian hip hop band that was founded in 2019. It consists of 3 sisters Betty, Miriam and Siona Endale. They are very proud of their roots and the cultural diversity which they are influenced by in their music. Their music is a combination of genres, from trap to hip-hop.
The band will probably perform the song “Black Square”
#6. Garna
Garna is a collaboration of the singer Aliona Levashova with the music producer Oleksii Khorolskyi. She writes her own songs alongside symphonic crossover orchestra Prime Orchestra
Garna will perform the song “Who We Are?”
#7. GIO
GIO is a young Pop singer who writes and composes songs. He participated in “The Voice Ukraine” and “X-Factor Ukraine“
#8. Go-A
Go-A is a Ukrainian band that blends elements of African music, powerful guitars, and dance beats. The band represented Ukraine in various music festivals over the world.
#9. Jerry Heil
Jerry is a young Ukrainian singer, songwriter, and composer. She was awarded for various nominations such as ‘Breakthrough of the Year’, ‘Discovery of the Year’. Moreover, she became a nominee for the Ukrainian award YUNA 2020 as ‘Best Performer’ and ‘Best Song’.
#10. Katya Chilly
Katya is one of the famous manes in the lineup. She is a singer, composer, and musician that participated in many music festivals. She had concerts even in the UK. Her repertoire includes Release of 5 studio albums and appearances on MTV and BBC.
#11. KHAYAT
KHAYAT is a young musician that participated in last year’s national selection. He didn’t qualify for the final of “Vidbir 2019“. He released his debut album KHMIL where he blends electronic music, ethnic melodies, and Oriental tunes.
#12. KRUTb
KRUTb is the nickname of the singer Maryna Krut that also plays bandura. She is active from the age of 15.
She combines electronic sounds with the traditional music instrument bandura. She represented Ukraine at various music festivals
#13. MOONZOO feat. F.M.F. Sure
MOONZOO is a Ukrainian Electronic band, while F.M.F. Sure is an American rapper. The first album of MOONZOO that was released in 2018 got a lot of excellent reviews in Ukraine.
#14. [O]
A Ukrainian indie-pop band that was awarded for ‘Hit of the Year’ and ‘Fresh Blood’. They performed at more than 20 music festivals.
#15. Oleksandr Poriadynskyi
He is the youngest participant of “Vidbir 2020“. He is best known for his winning in “X-Factor Ukraine”. Although his young age, Oleksandr composes and writes his own songs.
#16. TVORCHI
TVORCHI is a young band that successes all over the world. Their song “Believe” ranked the top 10 in the Ukrainian Google Play charts.
