Eurovision2020: All Tonight’s Super-Saturday Results!

It was a significant day in the Eurovision world with several countries progress in their selection process or select their entry for Eurovision.
Let’s sum up shortly what we have been through.

 

AUSTRALIA

Australia picked today an artist and a song for Eurovision 2020.
Australia has chosen an artist and a song via the national selection “Australia Decides 2020″.
The results were determined by 50% jury voting and 50% public voting.

LATVIAB

Latvia has picked an artist and a song for Eurovision 2020. The act was chosen via “Supernova 2020“.
The identity of the winner was determined only by public voting.
The results are:

#1. Samanta Tīna – Still Breathing
#2. Katrīna Dimanta – Heart Beats
#3. ANNNA – Polyester
#4. Miks Dukurs – I’m Falling For You
#5. Bad Habits – Sail With You
#6. Seleste – Like Me
#7. Edgars Kreilis – Tridymite
#8. Katrīna Bindere – I Will Break Your Heart
#9. DRIKSNA – Stay

Therefore, Samanta Tina will represent the country in Eurovision 2020 with her song “Still Breathing

 

ICELAND

The first semi-final of  “Söngvakeppnin 2020″ occurred tonight.
5 artists competed for 2 spots in the final.
The results were determined by 50% public voting and 50% jury voting.

The first song to qualify was DIMMA – Almyrkvi

The second song to qualify was Ísold & Helga – Klukkan tifar

 

LITHUANIAB

The second semi-final of the Lithuanian selection for Eurovision 2020 was held tonight.
8 artists competed for 4 spots in the final.

Here are the results:

The qualifiers are:

#1. Monika Marija – If I Leave

#2. Moniqué – Make Me Human

#3. Meandi – DRIP

#4. The Backs – Fully

Moniqué has won the public voting, while Monika Marija has won the jury voting.
They both ended Top 2 in both of the voting components.

 

NORWAY

Norway held the 5th semi-final of “Melodi Grand Prix 2020”.
4 artists competed for only 1 spot in the final.
They competed in 3 duels until a winner was announced.

#1. Elin & The Woods  won over  Jenny Jenssen

 

#2. Liza Vassilieva won over Kevin Boine 

 

 

#3. Liza Vassilieva won over Elin & The Woods

Therefore, Liza Vassilieva with the song “I’m gay” qualified for the final.

The 5th and last automatic qualifier performed her song:

Sweden held the second semi-final of “‘ Melodifestivalen 2020“.
The 2 direct qualifiers are:

The 2 acts that will try their luck in the second chance round are:

Paul Rey – Talking in My Sleep

Mendez feat. Alvaro Estrella – Vamos amigos

UKRAINEB

8 acts competed tonight in “Vidbir 2020” semi-final 1. The voting was based on 50% jury voting and 50% public voting.

The results are:
