Its the perfect time for the host country The Netherlands to reveal its entry for the 65th Eurovision Song Contest.
Earlier this year, The Dutch broadcaster NPO1 has announced that the Surinamese singer Jeangu Macrooy will raise the Dutch flag in Rotterdam. Today, during the show “De Wereld Draait” Jeangu Macrooy premiered his Eurovision entry “Grow”
The official PR photos of Jeangu were taken by the one and only Dutch photographer, and film director Anton Corbijn. In Anton’s Repertuare he’s the one who stands behind the music videos of Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy the Silence” (1990), U2’s “One” (1991), and Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida.”
As the winner of last year, The Netherlands will perform automatically in the grand final that will take place on May 16, 2020. You can listen to the songs revealed so far here :
