RTÉ, The Irish broadcast has finally revealed its plans for Rotterdam and revealed the song and artist that will represent the country at the 65th Eurovision Song Contest.
For the mission, the broadcast has internally selected the singer-songwriter from Dublin Lesley Roy. on the Eurovision’s stage, Lesley will sing “Story Of My Life”, a song she was co-written and co-produced along with Nashville writers Robert Marvin, Catt Gravitt, and Tom Shapiro.
Sharing her excitement on social media Lesley wrote:“The wait is finally over and the journey is about to begin! We all have a story to tell, we all deserve a moment to stand up and speak our truth to the world. “Story Of My Life” is not only a song, but a movement, an invitation for everyone to tell their own story because when we speak our truth we heal, we grow, we learn, we connect and we dance! I am honored and blessed to finally announce that I will be Ireland’s Eurovision entry in Rotterdam this coming May 2020. My heart and soul and STORY is in this song. Let’s do this!!!
