Roxen was internally selected to represent Romania in Eurovision 2020.

On the 1st of March 2020, the country held a national election where the singer performed 5 songs intended for Eurovision 2020.

The song “Alcohol You” has been chosen by a mutual decision of the professional jury and public voting.

Earlier today, Roxen released a revamped version of the song.
The main change can be heard in the power of her voice and the production of the last chorus. Instead of being softer, the last chorus is actually stronger and powerful.

Romania will participate in the first semi-final of Eurovision 2020.
The country was allocated to perform in the second half of the show.
