Karakat Bashanova Will Represent Kazakhstan at Junior Eurovision 2020

Earlier tonight the national final of Kazakhstan for Junior Eurovision 2020 was held.
12 children competed for the right to represent the country in the contest for the third time.

  1. Islam Saipolda – Otan
  2. Ajkerim Tleubek – Winner
  3. Kamila Gazizkyzy – Zheteleydi Arman
  4. Jean Makim – Brave Heart
  5. Nurshat Kusanоva – Tugan Zher
  6. Saniya Altynbekkyzy – Omir Beles
  7. Mahinur Tursunоva – Uly Dalanlyn Aueni
  8. Aydana Zhumazhan – Heal The World
  9. Akzhibek Manarbekkyzy – Zher-Ana
  10. Adiya Burhanоva – Muza
  11. Karakat Bashanоva – Forever
  12. Aiym Mukitanova – Celebrate


The results were determined by public voting:
Tleubek Aykerim ended in the 3rd place with 24.2%
Ayim Mukitanova ended in the 2nd place with 25.1%
Karakat Bashanova won with 25.9%.

Karakat will perform the song “Forever” at the Junior Eurovision 2020:

I want to thank Dad at least with my song. I hope he hears me

Karakat plays the piano and violin and has showed an interest in singing since the age of 5. she dedicate her song to her father that passed away Five years ago. talking about her wining she was queued: “I want to thank Dad at least with my song. I hope he hears me”

The 18th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will stay in Poland as of last winner’s winner Viki Gabor. there 13 countries will #MoveTheWorld on the night of November 29th where a new star will be born. this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in order to keep the artists and delegations safe, the acts will be pre-recorded on a local studio in each country together with an online voting making its comeback!
