Initial Details About “Dora 2021” Were Leaked by Croatian Media

Croatia used different mechanism to chose their act for Eurovision along the years.
“Dora” is the traditional national selection that returned since 2019.
The Croatian broadcaster HRT confirmed earlier this year that the song and the artists for Eurovision 2021 will be chosen via “Dora 2021″

Local media in Croatia report today that the final of “Dora 2021” will be held on Saturday, the 13th of February 2021. It’s important to mention that the broadcaster haven’t officially confirmed the date yet.
In addition, the submission period for “Dora 2021” will be opened very soon.
The national final will likely to include 16 songs and to consist of one show only. which means we won’t see any semi-finals.
The results will be determined by 50% jury voting and 50% public voting.

Croatia should have been represented by Damir Kedžo with the song “Divlji Vjetre” (English: “wild Winds”) at Eurovision 2020. The singer was chosen to represent his country, after he had won the national final “Dora 2020“.


What about Damir Kedžo?


The broadcaster announced on “Dora 2021” a few months ago, explaining the importance of the traditional music festival “Dora”.
Damir has already stated he would like to participate again in “Dora“.

However, a few days ago, Damir reveled that has tested positive for Covid-19.

Damir will have to recover from the virus, before he will able to record again at the studio. Therefore, Damir‘s participation at “Dora 2021″ is uncertain.

Who will be the participants of “Dora 2021” ? Will Damir Kedžo submit a song? Will he be the winner of “Dora 2021“?
