Samanta Tina Has Started Working On Her Eurovision 2021 Entry

Samanta Tina should have represented Latvia at Eurovision 2020. She had won the national selection “Supernova 2020” while performing the song “Still Breathing“:

However, Eurovision 2020 was cancelled and Samanta hasn’t got the chance to perform it live in Rotterdam.

The national broadcaster LTV decided to internally select the singer for Eurovision 2021.
On the 14th and 15th of October 2020, Riga Live company organised a special songwriting camp. The camp occurred in order to find the wishful song for Latvia at Eurovision 2021.

Among the participants, we can find some familiar faces and names in the Latvian music industry and in Latvian Eurovision bubble in particular:

Aminata who represented the country in 2015 with the song “Love Injected”. Moreover, The singer wrote and composed the Latvian entry for Eurovision 2016 and wrote Samanta Tina’s song for Eurovision 2020.

The recording session ended with 11 demo versions of songs after 2 days of camp.
