Malta Begins The Journey Of Finding The Perfect Entry For Eurovision 2021

In 2020, the young singer Destiny Chukunyere won the second season of “X-Factor Malta” and therefore has been chosen to represent Malta at Eurovision 2020. In 2015, she won “Junior Eurovision” for Malta.

She should have performed the song “All Of My Love“:

The Maltese broadcaster TVM decided to internally select the singer to represent the country at Eurovision 2021.
Yesterday, the submission window for Eurovision 2021 was officially opened. According to the broadcaster: “detailed process timings, guidelines and a style guide will be sent to each request.”.
Like in recent years, Malta is likely to collaborate with foreign writers and foreign composers.
In fact, the last time when Malta’s act for Eurovision was solely written and composed by Maltese was in 2017 – “Breathlessly” by Claudia Faniello.

The broadcaster didn’t mention details about the selection process itself. However, it is likely to suppose that the song will be chosen behind closed doors, no national final won’t be aired.
