Estonia : “Eesti Laul 2021” – Semi Final 1 Summary and Results

Estonia held tonight the first semi-final of “Eesti Laul 2021” – the national selection show for Eurovision 2021


The show was broadcast live from the Saku Suurhall in Tallin.

12 artists took part in the show:

  1. Tanja – Best Night Ever
  2. Hans Nayna – One By One
  3. Wiiralt – Tuuled
  4. Kea – Hypnotized
  5. Andrei Zevakin & Pluuto – Wingman
  6. Karl Killing – Kiss Me
  7. Nika Marula – Calm Down
  8. Egert Milder – Free Again
  9. Tuuli Rand – Üks öö
  10. Koit Toome – We Could Have Been Beautiful
  11. Kristin Kalnapenk – Find A Way
  12. Ivo Linna, Robert Linna, Supernova – Ma olen siin


The shows included 2 rounds of voting.

First-round – the results were determined by 50% public voting and 50% jury voting.
The top 4 acts qualified for the final (they were announced in random order) :

#1. Karl Killing – Kiss Me

#2. Koit Toome – We Could Have Been Beautiful

#3. Egert Milder – Free Again


#4. Ivo Linna, Robert Linna, Supernova – Ma olen siin



Second round: 8 remaining artists face public voting. The top 2 acts have got tickets for the final (they were announced in a random order) :

#5. Hans Nayna – One By One

#6. Andrei Zevakin & Pluuto – Wingman

Therefore, the following 6 songs were eliminated from the national selection:

#1. Tanja – Best Night Ever

#2. Nika Marula – Calm Down

#3. Kea – Hypnotized

#4. Kristin Kalnapenk – Find A Way

#5. Wiiralt – Tuuled

#6. Tuuli Rand – Üks öö


The top 4 acts of jury voting were revealed as well:

  • Nika Marula – Calm Down
  • Koit Toome – We Could Have Been Beautiful
  • Egert Milder – Free Again
  • Ivo Linna, Robert Linna, Supernova – Ma olen siin

The second semi-final will be held on Saturday the 20th of February 2021,
When will the other 12 artists compete for 6 spots in the final of “Eesti Laul 2021“.

Estonia will compete in the first half of semi-final 2 at Eurovision 2021
