Cyprus: Listen to Entry For Eurovision 2021: “El Diablo” By Elena Tsagrinou

The 11th entry for Eurovision 2021 has been released!
Cyprus will be represented this year by Elena Tsagrinou.

Elena Tsagrinou is one of the most talented and glamorous singers of the Greek pop scene, who managed to stand out from the very first steps of her career.
She was born in Athens in 1994, at the age of 14 she took part in the talent show “Greece Got Talent”, reaching the semifinals. In 2013, she was selected by ‘OtherView’ as the band’s lead singer and with them she released many hits. After 5 successful years with the said group, Elena started her solo career by releasing a single with the symbolic title ” Pame Ap’ Tin Arhi ” (Let’s go from the start) written by Dimitris Kontopoulos and Nikos Moraitis. Then other singles followed which, along with their video clips on Youtube, have gathered millions of views, elevating Elena Tsagrinou to one of the best pop singers of her generation with tens of thousands of followers on social media. Throughout these years, she has performed on the biggest music shows in Greece and Cyprus, at a number of concerts and she has cooperated with many other famous Greek artists such as Konstantinos Argyros and MELISSES, just to name a couple. She also has a successful career on television that began in 2014 with her participation, as a coach, on the TV music show “Just The 2 Of Us”, while during the 2016-2017 seasons, she co-presented with George Kapoutzidis “The Voice of Greece”. Since October 2020, she is presenting her own show, titled “K-POP Stars”, on MAD TV, the leading music channel in both Greece and Cyprus.

The song is about falling in love with someone as bad as El Diablo, a song composed and produced by Jimmy Thornfeld, Laurell Barker, Oxa, and Thomas Stengaard

Brazilian born songwriter, singer, dancer and artist Oxa, started her career in 2012 as a dancer for Jennfer Lopez’ Vegas show “Q’viva the chosen Live”, and has since then been doing Musicals such as The Lion King (Brazil), Tarzan (Germany) and Kinky Boots (Broadway). She also took part at ‘The Voice of Germany’ in 2019.

Jimmy “Joker” Thornfeldt

Jimmy Joker is a Swedish multiple Grammy Award Winner music producer and songwriter. He has had several number 1 on the charts worldwide and written and produced songs for artists like Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Marc Anthony, Daddy Yankee and many more.

Thomas Stengaard is a Danish multi-platinum selling songwriter and producer. He won Eurovision in 2013 as a writer for Denmark with “Only Teardrops” by Emmelie DeForest, and in 2018 he came in 4th place having co-written/produced the German entry “You Let Me Walk Alone” by Michael Schulte. Apart from Eurovision he has written/produced for artists such as Nico Santos, Adel Tawil and Alvaro Soler, Carpark North and many many more.

Marvin Dietmann Born in 1980s in Vienna, Austria, Marvin Dietmann is a creative director with multilevel experience in the entertainment industry. He has produced and worked as an artistic director for more than 180 TV shows across Europe, including a number of key roles at the Eurovision Song Contest over the past decade. Marvin Dietmann was also behind the staging of Austria’s winning Eurovision entry in 2014 with Conchita Wurst.
