Tonight, 3 countries will continue their journey in selecting the act for Eurovision 2021
At the end of the night we will hear the 14th entry entering the playlist of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam

In the show EMA 2021, hosted by Lea Sirk and Nejc Šmit, we will premiere the song with which Ana Soklič will perform at Eurovision 2021.
The hosts will take us through the history of the most resounding Slovenian and Yugoslav performances, as this year we commemorate the 60th anniversary of the first performance of the former common state at the Eurovision Song Contest and Privšek’s Some Ancient Star. Former Eurovision representatives from Slovenia will tell us what they want for Ana on her Eurovision trip to Rotterdam this year.

#2. The composer of the song, has already submitted a song for Eurovision that won a contest that year. This is probably Charlie Mason who wrote “Rise Like a Phoenix” (Austria 2014).

#6. The song isn’t a ballad this time.

Tonight, Sweden continues the journey to Eurovision 2021 with the 4th semi-final of “Melodifestivalen 2021”. 7 artists will compete for 2 spots in the final while 2 other will qualify for the second round “Andra Chansen”

Portugal will continue their journey to select an act for Eurovision 2021 with the 2nd semi-final 1 of “Festival da Canção 2021”. 10 artists will compete in the first semi-final, but only 5 among them will qualify for the final.
