Sweden: Tusse will perform “Voices” at Eurovision 2021

After 4 semi-finals and a “second chance” round, Sweden finally held the grand final of “Melodifestivalen 2021“.

28 artists competed in the entire national selection, but only 12 of them managed to qualify for the final. They performed in the following running order:

  1. Danny Saucedo – Dandi dansa
  2. Klara Hammarström – Beat of Broken Hearts
  3. Anton Ewald – New Religion
  4. The Mamas – In the Middle
  5. Paul Rey – The Missing Piece
  6. Charlotte Perrelli – Still Young
  7. Tusse – Voices
  8. Alvaro Estrella – Baila Baila
  9. Clara Klingenström – Behöver inte dig idag.
  10. Eric Saade – Every Minute
  11. Dotter – Little Tot
  12. Arvingarna – Tänker inte alls gå hem

The results were determined by 50% international jury vote and 50% public vote.

8 countries were included in the jury panel this year:
Israel, Switzerland, Iceland, Albania, Cyprus, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom (that replaces Belarus).
Each country gave 58 points to 10 different songs (1-8, 10, 12 points). This means that 464 points were given by the jury and 464 other points will be given by the public.

  6. Klara Hammarström, 1,341,566 votes
  7. Danny Saucedo, 1,309,741 votes
  8. Charlotte Perrelli. 1,016,557 votes
  9. Arvingarna, 923,022 votes
  10. Alvaro Estrella, 1,071,188 votes
  11. Anton Ewald, 1,066,340 votes
  12. Paul Rey, 998,030 votes

Tusse 2,964,269 votes were then translated into 96 public points which were added to the 79 points he got from the juries and that was loud and clear that Tusse is the winner of the night and will perform “Voices” at Eurovision 2021 for Sweden.
