Efendi meant to represent Azerbaijan at Eurovision Song Contest 2020 with song ”Cleopatra”. Azerbaijan broadcaster decided to send Efendi again to represent Azerbaijan at Eurovision Song Contest 2021.
It was announced that Efendi will sing ”Mata Hari” and on official Eurovision Song Contest Youtube Channel teaser was released.
