Welcome to our new series of posts – “The Looker” where we will share our wish list of artists participating in Eurovision.
But before we start, let us remark that our recommendations will not necessarily come true (as for example some countries select their artists by reality shows)
This is the 1st post in the series and it will concentrate on 3 countries: Belgium, Israel, and The Netherlands
IBE is the stage name of Ibe Wuyts. He is 19 years old Belgian singer. He became known in 2019 when he won the 6th season of “The Voice of Flander” (The “Voice” of the Flemish part of Belgium).
In May 2019, he released his debut single “Table of Fools” :
Later, he released more songs like “Control“:
and “Dark Maze“:
IBE suggests a unique sound of dark ballads. They all have meaningful texts and take you on a journey. Being only 19 years old with an impressive repertoire can be a key to success at Eurovision
#2. Charlotte Foret (Charles)
Charles is the stage name of Charlotte Foret. She won the 8th season of “The Voice of Belgium” coached by Matthew Irons, frontman of Puggy. Her stage name comes as an ode to her grandfather who passed away 4 years ago.

One of the songs in the EP is “Wasted Time“
Another one is “Without You“:
Last but not least is “Far Gone” which has a more modern flavour:
Her genre can be described as a combination of soft rock, pop, and alternative rock mixed with Indie.
However, we can say that Charles isn’t a stranger to Eurovision: She was one of the writers and composers of “The Wrong Place” (Belgium entry for Eurovision 2021)
Who knows, maybe Alex Callier can contribute 4th song to Eurovision as a composer (after 2018, 2020, 2021).
