JESC 2021 Round Up-Week 3

On May 20th 2021 we found out that Junior Eurovision 2021 will be held in Paris,France. We continue to report weekly the news for each country preparations for Junior Eurovision 2021.

AVROTOROS announced that national selection ”Junior Songfestivalen 2021” will be on the 25th of September. Each Wednesday the entry for national selection will be released and this week 1st entry revealed.

Next entry will be released on 30th of June 2021.

Polish entry for Junior Eurovision 2021 will be selected on September 26th 2021 in final of ” Szansa na Sukces: Eurowizja Junior 2021”.

Szansa na Sukces has been used as selection process for JESC since 2019 and will fallow the same format for 2021.

Three shows will be filmed at end of July and beginning of August with the performances being judged by 2-3 person jury. Each set of jurors will be different from first 3 shows. Jurors will select one artists to qualify. In final three jurors will return one from each show and they will determine 50% of the results, rest of results be determined by public vote.

Last winner was Ala Tracz with song ”I‘ll Be Standing”.

San Marinese broadcaster confirmed to Eurovision newsite ESCPlus that they won’t return to Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021.

San Marino last time participated in 2015 with artist Kamilla Ismailova with song ”Mirror”.

Ukrainian broadcaster UA:PBC confirmed to Eurovision newsite Eurofestivales that they will be participating in the Junior Eurovision 2021.

Junior Eurovision 2021 is set to take place in Paris, France on 19th December 2021.
