Slovenian broadcaster RTLSO has published the established artists that will participate at EMA 2022.
These 16 established artists will compete on 6 spots in the final.
They will compete in “EMA 2022 semi-final“.
The top 3 ranked by the jury panel and the top 3 ranked by the public votes will qualify for the final.
In the final, they will be joined by 4 finalists in “EMA Freš 2022“.
Their song will be revealed in the semi-final on “EMA 2022“.
Let’s meet the artists:
#1. Eva Moškon – Kliki (Eng: Clicks)
Song writers: Nermin Puškar, Srečko Meolic
Eva participated at EMA 2007 with the song ”Ljubim se”, and was eliminated in the semi-finals.
Nermin Puškar (one of the song-writers) was a backing vocalist for Bosnian and Herzevgonian entry in 2011.
#2. Manouche – Si same? (Are You Alone?)
Song writer: Rober Pikl
Manouche is an electro-swing band from Ljubljana, Slovenia. The band consists of Robi Pikl, Marco Grabber, Krešimir Tomec, Petra Trobec, and Luka Ipavec.
#3. Klara Jazbec – Chasing Dreams
Song writers: Ed Fisher, Klara Jazbec, Ani Cordero
Klara Jazbec participated in “EMA 2020″ with the song ”Stop the World”, where she came in 7th place.
#4. Bowrain & Brina – It’s Time
Song writers: Tine Grgurevič, Gregor Kosi
Behind the music is Tine Grgurevič Aka Bowrain and the vocalist is Brina Vogelnik.
Brina is a Slovenian vocalist that focuses on ethno folk music. She is the lead vocalist of the band ”Brina”.
#5. BQL – Maj (Eng:May)
Song writers: Anej Piletič, Raay, Marjetka Vovk)
BQL consists of the brothers of Anej Piletič and Rok Piletič. Eurovision fans recognize them from previous attempts to represent the nation in 2017 with the song ‘‘Heart of Gold” where they came 2nd place. In 2018 they tried to represent the nation with the song ”Ptica” where they again came 2nd place.

#6. Zala Smolnikar – V ogledalu (Eng: In the mirror)
Song writer: Zala Smolnikar
Zala Smolnikar is a young Slovenian pop singer.
In 2017, she participated in the Slovenian music festival “Popevka 2017“
#7. Gušti feat. Leyre – Nova Romantika Eng: (New Romance)
Song writer: Miha Guštin – Gušti
Miha Guštin is a Slovenian composer, song-writer and guitarist. He namely writes pop sock songs.
Leyre is a young Slovenian R&B soul singer.

#8. Vedran Ljubenko – H2O dieta

5 years ago, Vedran Ljubenko was one of the finalists in “The Voice of Croatia”.

Batista Cadillac is a Slovenian music group who initially was composed of 2 members (Urban Lutman and Matija Koritnik), but currently is expanded to 8 members.
