Maltese broadcaster TVM has been revealed that 22 semi-finalists for the national selection to select the hopeful who will represent Malta at Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
This is the first time that the Maltese broadcaster decided to bring back national selection after 4-year absence. Last Time MJESC was held Christabelle won with the song ‘‘Taboo” and represented the nation at Eurovision 2018.
Television Malta will be broadcasting both semi-final and grand final which will take place in February 2022.
22 semi-finalists will take part in the semi-final and the 16 best will qualify for the grand final. The voting process will be used form of expert jury vote and public vote. The winner will represent Malta at Eurovision Song Contest 2022

Destiny represented Malta at Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song ”Je Me Casse”.
