According to reports from Swedish media, and namely the website Expressen, we learned that the planned tour in “Melodifrstivalen 2022″ might be cancelled.

Due to the spread of the Covid pandemic, new restrictions will probably be presented to the public.
A maximum of 500 people are allowed in all public events. Meanwhile, “Melodifestivalen” usually includes an enormous number of people in the audience (about 20,000).
Moving the show between 6 different cities has high costs. It would be hard to cover those costs without selling all the planned tickets.
In 2021, SVT held all the shows in Stockholm.
