Lithuanian broadcaster LRT recorded yesterday the 3rd heat of the national selection: “Pabandom iš naujo 2022“.
The recorded show will be broadcast on the upcoming Saturday – 22nd of January 2022.
Here are the 12 participants in the 3rd and last heat in the Lithuanian selection.
12 artists will compete on 6 spots in the semi-final, where they will meet additional 12 artists that hae already qualified for the semi-finals. The results will be determined by public voting and national jury.
We will present them in a random order
#1. Rūta Loop – Call Me From the Cold
Rūta Loop is one of the familiar faces in the Lithuanian selection.
In “Pabandom iš naujo 2020” , she performed the electro pop hit “We Came From The Sun” and ended as one of the finalists.
This year, she will probably perform a ballad with a twist.
Her song will be released on Friday, but you can already listen to a snippet from it:
#2. Vilija Matačiūnaitė – Šimtas vienas (Eng: One Hundred)
Vilija isn’t a stranger to Eurovision at all.
In Eurovision 2014, she representd Lithuania with the song “Attention“, but failed to qualify for the final. Last year, she participated the song “Open” in the Lithuanian selection, but failed to advance for the semi-final.
#3.Monika Liu – Sentimentai
It will be the debut performance of the expereinced singer in the national selection.
She will perform a mid-tempo sensual-romanic song in the Lithuanian language
#4. Emilija Valiukevičiūtė – Overload
The singer competed in the Lithuanian selection on 2 different occasions.
In 2018, she performed the song “Bye Bye” and was eliminated in the 2nd show.
In 2019, she performed the song “Riddle” and was eliminated in the semi-finals.
This year, she will perform the song “Overload“
#5. Mėnulio fazė – Give me a sign
The band’s lead singer is Vladas Chockevičiu, who participated in “The Voice of Lithuania” 2 years ago.

#6. Basas Pegasas – Ponai (Eng: Gentelmen)
The band were meant to perform in the first heat. However, some band members were sick at this time. By the approval of LRT, they will compete in the 3rd heat instead.
#7.Vasha – Nepaleidi (Eng: Nepalii)

#8.Gintarė Korsakaitė – Fantasy Eyes
Her song will be released soon
#9. Geleibra [Gabrielė Urbonaitė] – aš jaučiu tave (Eng: I Feel You)
Her song will be released soon
#10. Gebrasy – Into Your Arms
Gebrasy is a talented singer – songwriter.
The singer-songwriter has participated in the Lithuanian selection twice.
In 2019, he competed in the Lithuanian selection with the song “Acceptance“. He didn’t qualify for the semi-finals.
In 2021, he performed the song “Where’d You Wanna Go“. Gebrasy finished in 2nd place in the final. He has also written 3 other songs that copmeted in Last year’s selection.
This time, he will perform a mid-tempo love ballad, where he shows his special vocal abilities.
#11.Lolita Zero – Not Your Mother
Lolita Zero is a fictive character, played by the singer and actor Gytis Ivanauskas.
She participated in the Lithuanian selection in 2017 with the song “Get Frightened” and finished in 5th place in the final.
With Iconic custom and some dances, she will try to stay the most memorabe artist on the stage!
#12.Živilė Gedvilaitė – Lioness
The singer participated in the Lithuanian selection on 2 different occasions.
In 2018, she performed the song “Melody” and was eliminated in the 6th show.
In 2019, she competed with the song “Learn From Your Love” and was eliminated in the semi-finals.
This time, she collaborated with Swedish writers: Ylva and Linda Persson
