Slovenia: “EMA 2022” – Full Details Revealed [Dates, Format, Running Order and More]

Slovenian broadcaster RTV SLO has published the full details of the national selection for Eurovision 2022 – “EMA 2022” and “EMA Freš 2022” .

DATES

Saturday, the 28th of January 2022 – “EMA Freš 2022” – Grand Final
Saturday, the 5h of February 2022 – “EMA 2022” – Semi – Final 1
Saturday, the 12th of February 2022 – “EMA Freš 2022” – Semi – Final 2
Saturday, the 19th of February 2022 – “EMA Freš 2022” – Grand Final

Currently, 14 emerging artists and 16 established artists are in the race to represent Slovenia at Eurovision 2022!

“EMA Freš 2022” [28th of Januray 2022]

24 artists started their journey in the emerging artists path.
14 remained in the race after multiple rounds of competition.
They will fight for 4 spots in the semi-finals of “EMA 2022”.
Slovenian broadcaster RTV SLO has released 14 snippets.
These are snippets of the studio version of “EMA Freš 2022” Finalists – the emerging artists’ path in the Slovenian selection.

The presenters of “EMA Freš 2022” will be: Eva Boto (represented Slovenia at Eurovision 2012), Melani Mekicar, and Arne Međedović:

“EMA 2022” – Grand Final [19th of February 2022]

The grand final will consist of 12 participants (6 participants from each semi-final).
The results will be determined by a combination of jury voting and public voting.
The winner will represent Slovenia at Eurovision 2022.

Melani Mekicar and Bojan Cvjetićanin will host the “EMA 2022” semi-finals and final
