Belgium: Eurovision 2022 Entry Will Be Released On the 10th of March 2022

According to Belgian broadcaster RTBF (broadcaster of French-speaking community in Belgium), the Belgian entry for Eurovision 2022 will be released on Thursday, the 10th of March 2022.
The song will be revealed on Vivacité between 8:00 and 9:00 CET.

Belgium was the first country to announce an artist for Eurovision 2022, already in September 2021.
The 20 year old Jérémie Makiese will raise the Belgian flag in Turin.

He rose to fame after winning the latest edition of “The Voice of Belgium.”
Jérémie studies Geology and plays football in his free time.

As we have reported in the last episode of “Around The Continent“,  the singer has revealed some moments behind the scenes of making his Eurovision 2022 entry. It seems like we will get a ballad in the English language. The melody is based on piano, violin and electric guitar.

In addition, the singer will give a premiere live performace of the song on thre 9th of April 2022 in the “Eurovision in Concert” that will be held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands:

Belgium will compete in the second half of semi-final 2 on the 12th of May 2022.
If Belgium qualifies, the country will participate in the grand final on the 14h of May 2022
