Sweden: “Melodifestivalen 2022” Running Order Revealed

As always, Sweden will select an artist and a song for Eurovision via “Melodifestivalen
This edition lasts 6 weeks, including 4 semi-finals, a second-chance round and a grand final.
The grand final will take place this Saturday, the 12th of March 2022 at Friends Arena, Stockholm.
The main host is Oscar Zia

12 artists made it to the final – 8 qualifies directly from the first 4 semi-finals, while 4 additional artists earned their spot via the second-chance round.

Swedish broadcaster SVT has just revealed the running order for “Melodifestivalen 2022” final:

  1. Klara Hammarström – Run to the Hills
  2. THEOZ – Som du vill
  3. Anna Bergendahl – Higher Power
  4. John Lundvik – Änglavakt
  5. Tone Sekelius – My Way
  6. Anders Bagge – Bigger than the Universe
  7. Robin Bengtsson – Innocent Love
  8. Faith Kakembo – Freedom
  9. LIAMOO – Bluffin
  10. Cornelia Jakobs – Hold Me Closer
  11. Cazzi Opeia – I Can’t Get Enough
  12. Medina – In i dimman

About Voting System For The Grand Final

  1. The results will be determined by a combination of international jury and public vote
  2. First round of voting
    • All viewers have five free votes per participant.
    • Viewers will only be able to vote during the live performance
  3. Second round of voting:
    • It will take place after international jury results are revealed
    • Once again, viewers have five free votes per participant.
  4. The public vote will be divided and aggregated by the age groups: televoters, 3 – 9 years old, 10 –15, 16 – 29, 30 – 44, 45 – 59, 60 – 74, and 75+.
  5. Each voter group will grant 1 – 8 ,10 ,12 points to their top 10.

Who is your favorite to win “Melodifestivalen 2022“?

Sweden will participate in the second half of semi-final 2 of Eurovision 2022 which will be held on the 12th of May 2022.
If the country qualifies, Sweden will perform in the grand final on the 14th of May 2022
