Musician Dmytro Shurov (Pianoboy) will become the official music producer of “Vidbir 2023”.
He commented:
“I am glad to have the opportunity to work as a music producer for this year’s selection. I want Europe to hear and see a modern Ukrainian musician who is part of the world’s musical context.
I know that we have such people, and although it is very difficult to create now, I invite and urge musicians of all styles and genres to urgently take up their favorite instrument and join the selection”
In addition, the jury members are yet to be known.
In fact, they will be chosen through online voting, by the Ukrainian public.
Mykola Chernotytskyi, the head of UA:PBC explained:

The public has all its dissatisfaction with this year’s jury on its radar. Starting next year, one of the innovations in the formation of the jury will be an open call. All citizens who wish will be able to propose their candidacy, which, in their opinion, has the experience and weight in this field. After that, we will vote on the website and coordinate the candidacy. As a result, a professional jury will be formed to vote for the finalists of next year’s Eurovision Song Contest
Kalush Orchestra represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2022 with the song “Stefania“.
Due to their win at Eurovision 2022, Ukraine will get a direct path towards Eurovision 2023 grand final.
