Maltese national broadcaster has revealed the 16 finalists who are hopeful of representing the nation at Junior Eurovision 2022.
These finalists are:

Shanzay Mangion–“Heartbeat”
Kaylyn Mallia–“Here I Am”
Aaliyah Cassar–“Infinity”
Rih and Bri–“Karma”
Cassidy Gauci–“Light Up”
Naomi Busuttil–“Little Cheeky”
Cesca Galea–“See the Invisible”
Kayleen Mercicea–“Shooting Star”
Andrea Camilleri–“Spark”
Ma Girlz–“Stereo”
Charelle Micallef–“The Extra Miles”
Kensley Ciappara–“Tliet Xadini” (ENG: Three monkeys)
Isis Jade Miller–“Unbreakable”
Geneve Dimech–“With You By My Side”
The final of MJESC 2022 will take place on 2nd October 2022, winner will be decided by a jury (75%) and public voting (25%). Only the top 3 will be revealed as results, and in case of a tie, another jury vote will take place. The winner will be the representative for Junior Eurovision 2022.
Ike & Kaya represent Malta at Junior Eurovision 2021 with the song ”My Home”.
