Program manager for the “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix” Erik Struve Hansen, commented:
Dansk Melodi Grand Prix is a proud tradition that binds families and generations together across the board. We also want to reflect the community and the broad appeal of the show in our host couple, which is why I am happy that Tina and Heino have agreed to the task. I am sure that with their different backgrounds they will complement each other well and at the same time be good company for the viewers, which is one of the most important tasks for a hosting duo in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix
