Denmark: Hosts For The “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023” Have Been Announced

Danish broadcaster DR has announced the hosts for the “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023“: Tina Müller and Heino Hansen.

Tina Müller will host the national selection for the 3rd time in a row, while Heino Hansen will host the show for the first time.

Heino Hansen reacted:

 I am really looking forward to hosting the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. And then, on my own home ground in Næstved, it couldn’t be better.

Program manager for the “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix” Erik Struve Hansen, commented:

Dansk Melodi Grand Prix is ​​a proud tradition that binds families and generations together across the board. We also want to reflect the community and the broad appeal of the show in our host couple, which is why I am happy that Tina and Heino have agreed to the task. I am sure that with their different backgrounds they will complement each other well and at the same time be good company for the viewers, which is one of the most important tasks for a hosting duo in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix

Tickets will be available starting on the 18th of November 2022.

“Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023”

  1. “Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2023” will be held on the 11th of February 2023
  2.  The show will be held at Arena Næstved.
  3. The submission window closed on the 18th of October 2022.
  4. 8 songs will be shortlisted to participate in the national final.
  5. The final will be determined by 100% public vote

Reddi represented Denmark at Eurovision 2022 with the song “The Show”.
They finished in 13th place in semi-final 1, and therefore failed to qualify
