Eurovision 2023: Azerbaijan is Calling For Songs!

Due to the Azerbaijani Eurovision website 12XAL, we can reveal that the country has started preparations for Eurovision 2023 selection process.

Azerbaijani broadcaster Ictimai opened the submission window for Eurovision 2023 applications.
Artists can send their original proposals from the 8th of December until the 31st of December 2022.

The open call is made for writers, composers and singers.
Submissions should be sent via email: song@eurovizion.az

The suggested approach for the selection process has changed, compared to recent years.
One of possible expiations is the another piece of news that came:

Isa Malikov, the former head of delegation has resigned from the position.
The new head of delegation is Vasif Mammadov who has probably came with new idea for the selection process.

This will be the first time in recent years, where each interested artist can apply for the selection process. In the past, the artist had been internally chosen by the broadcaster and thereafter the call for songs begun.

Nadir Rustamli represented Azerbaijan at Eurovision 2022 with the song “Fade To Black“.
He finished in 16th place:

Who would you like to see representing the country at Eurovision 2023?
Would we get a different type of songs?
