LRT Revealed full details regarding the selection process for Eurovision 2023 – “Pabandom iš naujo! 2023”

Dates
“Pabandom iš naujo! 2023″ will last for 5 weeks.
It will include 2 heats, 2 semi-finals and a final:
- Heat 1 – Saturday, 21st of January 2023
- Heat 2 – Saturday, 28th of January 2023
- Semi-Final 1 – Saturday, 4th of February 2023
- Semi-Final 2 – Saturday, 11th of February 2023
- Grand Final – Saturday, 18th of February 2023
Format
The results of each show willbe determined a 50% publc vote and a 50% of national jury results.
LRT will financially support each one of the acts, including budget allocation for the staging
The Artists
Among the artists, we can find some familar names and faces:
Monika Linkytė
The singer represented Lithuania as part of a duo at Eurovision 2015 alongside Vaidas Baumila.
They ended up in 18th place with “This Time”
Aistė Pilvelytė
The singer probably holds the record for the largest number of participants in the Lithuanian selection
Aistė Pilvelytė has participated in the national selection 11 times. In 2017, she ended up as the runner-up with “I’m Like a Wolf“.
In 2020, she was a finalist with “Unbreakable“.
Gebrasy
Gebrasy will return to the Lithuanian selection for the 3rd time in a row.
In 2021, he performed “Where You’d Wanna Go?” and ended in 2nd place:

Alen Chicco
Alen Chicco, has participated in the Lithuanian selection in 2019 and 2020.

“I think that this year’s list of participants is very promising: it will be possible to create meaningful entertainment for winter evenings, and to send a representative of Lithuania to the great Eurovision, which we will be proud of again,”
