Moldova Announces Selection Process for Eurovision 2023

Moldovan Broadcast TRM has opened the submission window for the Eurovision 2023 selection process.
The submission window opens today (23rd of December 2022) and will close on the 16th of January 2023 at 17:00 local time.

The basic regulations and format will be:

  1. Round 1 – Review of all submissions between 25th and 28th of January 2023
  2. Round 2 – Live audition stage that will be broadcast live on TV Moldova 2.
  3. The audition qualifiers will be determined by 100% national jury decision.
  4. Auditions will be held between the 28th of January and 5th of February 2023.
  5. Only 10 artists will qualify for the show.
  6. Round 3 – Live show (the national final) will be held between 25th of February and 5th of March 2023.
  7. The results of the final will be determined by 50% public vote and 50% national jury.

Zdob și Zdub and Advahov Brothers represented Moldova at Eurovision 2022 with the song “Trenulețul“. They finished in 7th place:
