On October 1st, it was reported that Moldova hasn’t finalized its plans for Eurovision 2027.
Moldovan broadcaster TRM has been granted an extended deadline to determine its participation.

Veronica Cojocaru, the head of the Moldova Eurovision delegation, explained that the request is rooted in a change in the board team. More precisely, the CEO of TRM has resigned just after Eurovision 2026. It was following a scandal, because the Moldovan jury granted 3 points to the Romanian entry
However, today ESC SPOT reports that the final decision has been made: Moldova will participate in Eurovision 2027!
Vitalie Cojocaru will function as the Head of the Delegation, having worked in this role already in 2008-2011, 2013, 2015, and between 2018 and 2022.
With this, Veronica Cojocaru ends her period as the Head of the Delegation.
More details regarding the selection process for Eurovision 2027 will be revealed in a later date.
Eurovision 2027 will be held in Burgas, Bulgaria on May 11th, 13th, 15th, 2027
