Norway: “Melodi Grand Prix 2023” Semi-Final 1 Results

Norwegian broadcaster NRK held the first semi-final of “Melodi Grand Prix 2023″.
7 artists perfomed tonight in the following order:

  1. Alessandra Mele — Queen of Kings (The Voice of Norway)
  2. Erik Næss — Wave
  3. Rasmus Thall — TRESKO
  4. Kate Gulbrandsen — Tårer I Paradis (Eurovision 1987)
  5. Umami Tsunami — Geronimo
  6. Ulrikke — Honestly (Eurovision 2020)
  7. Jowst & Byron Williams Jr — Freaky for the Weekend (JOWST: Eurovision 2017)

Based on 100% public vote, 3 acts qualified for the final, which will be held on the 4th of February 2023

#1. Umami Tsunami – Geronimo

#2. Ulrikke Brandstorp – Honestly

#3. Alessandra Mele – Queen of Kings 

This means we have to say goodbye to 4 acts:

  1. Erik Næss — Wave
  2. Kate Gulbrandsen — Tårer I Paradis 
  3. Rasmus Thall — TRESKO
  4. Jowst & Byron Williams Jr — Freaky for the Weekend 

Semi-Final 2 will be held next Saturday with 7 artists:

  • Sandra Lyng – Drøm D Bort
  • Jone – Ekke Inni Meg
  • Swing’it – Prohibition
  • Ella A – Waist
  • Alejandro Fuentes – Fuego
  • Bjørn Olav – Turn Off My Heart
  • Elsie Bay – Love You In A Dream
