Format
The hosts of the event will be AJ Odudu and Rylan.

The ceremony will also include the Host City Insignia Exchange.
Turin will give Liverpool the symbol of the host city.
the Mayor of 2022 Host City Turin, Stefano Lo Russo hand over the official keys to the Eurovision Song Contest, known as the “Insignia“, to the Mayor of Liverpool, Joanne Anderson.
Since the establish of 2 semi-finals in 2008 and due to voting patterns, the EBU and the reference group have decided to allocate countries with voting relations together, in the same pot.
The 31 countries that participate in the semi-finals are allocated into 5pots, based on historical voting patterns as calculated by the contest’s official televoting partner Digame.
Each pot will include 6-7 countries.
From each pot, half of the countries will be allocated in the first semi-final and the remaining countries will be allocated in the second semi-final.

The 6th pot includes the automatic qualifiers:

Half of each pot will be allocated to perform in semi-final 1, the other half of countries will perform in semi-final 2.
In addition, each of the semi-finalists will get an allocation to one of the halves of the shows.

Format
18 artists participate in this year “Benidorm Fest 2023″.
The festival includes 2 semi-finals and a grand final.
These 9 artists will perform their songs tonight in the following order
- Sharonne – Aire
- Aritz – Flamenco
- Sofía Martín – Tuki
- Agoney – Quiero Arder
- Megara – Arcadia
- Alice Wonder – Yo Quisiera
- Meler – No Nos Moverán
- Fusa Nocta – Mi Familia
- Twin Melody – Sayonara
The results will be based on a 50% international jury vote, a 25% public vote and a 25% demoscopic jury vote.
4 artists will qualify for the final from this semi-final.
