According to the Azerbaijani Eurovision website 12xal, we can learn more about potential artists.

Ilaha Dadashova, the head of press in the Azerbaijani delegation for Eurovision reacted:

As we mentioned earlier, during this year’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, special attention was paid to the fact that the songwriters were Azerbaijani. In addition to this factor, 5 performers and their songs were selected taking into account other parameters

These 5 artists are:

#1. Mamagama group

Last December, they participated in the international music competition “Kenga Magjike 2022”, which was held in Albania.
They ended in the highest place for non-Albanian artist. However, this isn’t their song for Eurovision

#2. Humay Aslanova and Amrah Musayev

Amrah Musayev (the male half of the duo) participated in “The Voice of Azerbaijan”.

Their video clip of the performances were recorded and will be presented to a reduce reference group.
Later on, one of them will be chosen to represent Azerbaijan at Eurovision 2023!
