Iru Khechanovi Will Represent Georgia at Eurovision 2023!

The Voice of Georgia 2023” has just come to an end.
8 artists reached the final and these are:

  1. Iru Khechanov
  2. Tako Kakalashvili
  3. Anka Tatarashvili
  4. Likuna Tutisani
  5. Lika Siradze
  6. Tina Datikashvili
  7. Giorgi Datiashvili
  8. Kakha Aslamazashvili 

The winner was determined by public vote and the results were:

  1. Iru Khechanovi – 21.88%
  2. Giorgi Datiashvili – 15.72%
  3. Likuna Tutisani – 13.76%
  4. Lika Siradze – 13.73%
  5. Anka Tatarashvili – 11.56%
  6. Tina Datikashvili – 10.34%
  7. Tako Kakalashvili – 10.09%
  8. Kakha Aslamazashvili – 2.92%

Iru’s song for Eurovision 2023 will be internally selected and therefore revealed at a later date.

Iru Khechanovi is no stranger to Eurovision!
Last December, she was one of the song-writers of the song “I Believe“.
The song was performed by Mariam Bigvava as the Georgian entry for Junior Eurovision 2022. Georgia finished in 3rd place in the final

In 2011, Iru was part of the group Candy who represented Georgia at Junior Eurovision 2011 with the song “Candy Music” and won the contest!

Georgia will perform in the second half of semi-final 2 at Eurovision 2023.
Will the country qualify for the final after 5 non-qualification in a row?
