Australia: Voyager Will Perform “Promise” at Eurovision 2023

Can your heat the “Sound of Silence“?
No need to keep it silent anymore: After a long time of having no details about the Australian participation at Eurovision 2023, the long wait is behind us.

The band Voyager was internally selected to represent Australia at Eurovision 2023.
They will perform the song “Promise“:

Australian broadcaster SBS selected the band, following their participation in “Australia Decides 2022” (the national selection for Eurovision 2022).
Bach then, they performed the song “Dreamer” and ended in the 2nd place (however win the public vote):

About Voyager

The band was established in 1999. The band has released 7 studio-albums.
The current line-up includes:

  • Daniel Estrin (vocals, keys)
  • Simone Dow (guitars)
  • Scott Kay (guitars)
  • Ashley Doodkorte (drums)
  • Alex Canion (bass, vocals)

Australia will compete in the second half of semi-final 2 at Eurovision 2023.
