Last month, the singer Iru Khechanovi won “The Voice of Georgia 2023“.
Therefore, she was set to represent the country at Eurovision 2023, as part of internal selection.
Ever since then, Iru has spent some time in the studio working on a Eurovision 2023 entry.

Iru Khechanovi is no stranger to Eurovision!
She is a 22 year-old Georgian pop singer.
Last December, she was one of the song-writers of the song “I Believe“.
The song was performed by Mariam Bigvava as the Georgian entry for Junior Eurovision 2022. Georgia finished in 3rd place in the final.
In 2011, Iru was part of the group Candy who represented Georgia at Junior Eurovision 2011 with the song “Candy Music” and won the contest!
Georgia will compete in the second half of semi-final 2 at Eurovision 2023.
