Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne has revealed 10 potential artists who will try their luck to represent the nation at the upcoming Junior Eurovision.
The broadcaster has narrowed down the list from 143 submissions to the final 10 acts.
Now the remaining acts are set to have auditions to make the final stage.5 best acts from the longlist will go through a national final which will be held online.
These 10 artists are:
- 3’beauties
- POLINA BABIY
- Anastasia Belibova
- Denis Hryshchuk
- Anastasia Dymyd
- Anna Dolna
- Artem Kotenko
- Anastasia Piekh
- Kateryna Yavorska
- Nika Yarovenko
Suspile announced on the Facebook page of Eurovision Ukraine that 3 artists would be members of an ”expert council”.These 3 artists are DEMCHUK, KHAYAT, and Cloud.
Svitlana Tarabarova who is the music producer of the national selection for Junior Eurovision 2023 her comment was
”This was probably the most difficult task – to choose only 10 out of 143 applicants.”
Ukrainian national selection for JESC 2023 will be held in October, where viewers will have their say on who will represent Ukraine.
Zlata Dziunka represented Ukraine at the Junior Eurovision 2022 with the song ‘‘Незламна” (ENG Unbreakable). She finished in ninth place with 111 points.
Junior Eurovision 2023 will be held in Niece, France on 26th November 2023. Currently, 15 countries will participate in Junior Eurovision 2023.
