Albanian broadcaster RTSH has revealed participants for Albanian national selection Junior Fest 2023.
A total of 16 hopefuls have been selected for the grand final of Junior Fest 2023. These participants are:
- Marianxhela Rodakaj – “Afrika” (ENG Africa)
- Viola Gjyzeli – “Bota ime” (ENG My world)
- Irisa Haxhillari – “Melodinë e saj” (ENG Her melody)
- Nikol Cabeli – “Vetëm unë” (ENG Only me)
- Tea Metohu – “Smile”
- Amra Madani – “Rock Star”
- Rei Bardhollari -“Hasta manaña” (ENG Until tomorrow)
- Keita Hitaj – “Eja” (ENG Come)
- Franceska Kasa – “Perfekte jam” (ENG I’m perfect)
- Ajshel Zykollari – “Pas endrrës time eja” (ENG Follow my dream)
- Elisa Skarra – “Një përqafim” (ENG A hug)
- Ea Zoga – “Lule n’zemer tuaj” (ENG Flowers in your heart)
- Fiona Resuli – “Londroj me yjet” (ENG London with the stars)
- Era Hasanaj – “Bisedë me një yll” (ENG Chat with a star)
- Biorin Maxhaxhallaku & Keira Baku – “Violin apo kanarin” (ENG Violin or canary)
- Anja Canaj – “E dua erën” (ENG I love the wind)
Bojken Lako who is director of Junior Fest 2023, explained that the show is not only a celebration of the 16 finalists but also of all generations that have participated in festivals.
“Junior Fest this year is conceived as a celebration not only of young singers who have just been selected by the music selection committee. Alongside hearing original songs from the finalists, we will also have performances from artists such as Arsi Bako, Niki Zaimi & Band, Melodajn Mancaku and Luna Çausholli.”
Junior Fest 2023 will take place on 22nd September 2023 at the Pyramid of Tirana. The winner of Junior Fest 2023 will represent Albania at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Nice,France.
Kejtlin Glata represented Albania at Junior Eurovision 2022 with the song “Pakëz diell”. She finished in 12th place with 94 points.
Junior Eurovision 2023 will take place in Nice,France on Sunday 26th November 2023 at 16:00 CET.
