The Netherlands: Sep & Jasmijn Will Perform “Holding On To You” at JESC 2023

Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS held the Junior Songfestival 2023.
4 groups and solo performers competed in the national selection.
Here are the final results, based on 3 equal sets of points, made by an adult jury, a public vote and the junior jury:

  1. Sep & Jasmijn – Holding On To You (36 points)
  2. Joy! – Better Together (29 points)
  3. Flare Side By Side (26 points)
  4. Duron Magic (26 points)

Sep & Jasmijn won the national selection with “Holding On To You“:

The junior judges were:

  • Luna (Won Junior Songfestival 2022 and represented the Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2022)
  • Mixed Up (2nd place at Junior Songfestival 2022)

Adult Judges were:

  • Soy Kroon (Dutch actor and singer, he is well known in dutch theatre and television)
  • Sosha Duysker (television presenter)
  • Meu Hewitt aka MEAU (Dutch singer-songwriter)

Luna represented Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2022 with the song ”La fiesta’‘.She finished in 7th place with 128 points.

Junior Eurovision 2023 will take place in Nice, France on 26th November 2023.
16 countries will take part in JESC 2023: Albania, Norh Macedonia, Estonia, Spain, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia, The Netherlands, Ireland and Malta.


Doron Lahav is 30-year-old, who lives in Israel. Doron has been watching the Eurovision Song Contest since early 2000s. Doron works as a Data Scientist and shows interest in singing and writing.
