Poland held the national selection for Junior Eurovision 2023: Szansa na Sukces: Eurowizja Junior 2023.
5 finalists tried their luck to represent their country:
- Leon Olek
- Daria Malicka
- Gracjana Górka
- Filip Robak
- Maja Krzyżewska
In the first part, the five finalists performed covers, with two singers selected by 50% jury voting and 50% televote to go through to the final stage.
In the final stage the two super finalists will perform their songs for Junior Eurovision, with the winner chosen by the public.
Both finalists performed the same song.
The 2 super-finalists were:
- Leon Olek – 12 points (7 from jury, 5 from SMS)
- Maja Krzyżewska – 8 points (1 from jury, 7 from SMS)
After another round of voting, the winner was announced.
Therefore, Maja Krzyżewska will sing “I Just Need a Friend” for Poland at Junior Eurovision 2023:
Earlier this year, Maja competed in “The Voice Kids Poland 6“:
Laura represented Poland at Junior Eurovision 2022 with the song ”To the Moon”. She finished in 10th place with 95 points.
Junior Eurovision 2023 will take place in Nice, France on 26th November 2023.
