JESC 2023: Listen to The Irish Entry – Jessica McKean – “Aisling”

Jessica McKean won the Irish selection for Junior Eurovision 2023 in September.
She will sing “Aisling” (Eng: Dream/Vision):

The song ”Aisling” was composed for Jessica after she won Junior Eurovision Éire 2023. The lyrics were written by Niall Mooney, Fiona Mooney, Niamh Mooney, and Sophie Lennon (Ireland, Junior Eurovision 2022). The melody was created by Niall Mooney, Ken McHugh, and Will Weeks

About Jessica McKean

Jessica McKean lives on a dairy farm in a small town called Lifford in the north of Ireland, surrounded by fields, cows and beautiful countryside.
She won a singing competition at her first Fèis (Gaelic arts and culture festival) aged just 3!

Sophie Lennon represented Ireland at Junior Eurovision 2022 with the song ”Solas”. She finished in 4th place with 150 points.

Junior Eurovision 2023 will take place in Nice, France on 26th November 2023.
16 countries will take part in the contest: France, Germany, Spain, the UK, Italy, Albania, North Macedonia, Estonia, Georgia, Poland, The Netherlands, Malta, Ukraine, Ireland, Portugal, and Armenia.

Doron Lahav is 30-year-old, who lives in Israel. Doron has been watching the Eurovision Song Contest since early 2000s. Doron works as a Data Scientist and shows interest in singing and writing.
