Czech Television will choose the entry for Eurovision 2024 via “ESCZ 2024”. The national selection will be held on Monday, the 4th of December 2023 at 19:30 CET.
Adam Misik will be back as the host of the show, but this time audience will be able to attend the show. The event will be held at the “Roxy Club”, Prague.
In addition, we can reveal that 5 artists will compete in the national selection (just like in “ESCZ 2023”).
Cesár Sampson (who represent Austria at Eurovision 2018) acts as the music advisor of the selection.
The list of participants will be finalized in the upcoming days.
This year, we won’t be able to listen to the songs before the show!
“ESCZ 2024” Known Details

- The submission window for “ESCZ 2024” closed on the 7th of November 2023.
- The lead singer must be Czech or a Slovak musician who contribute to the Czech music scene. In the case of a duet, at least one of the main vocalists must meet this condition
- The national selection will be a live show.
- The voting mechanism will be released during November 2023.
- It is possible the results of the national selection will be revealed after the show.
- 5 acts will compete in “ESCZ 2024”, while the songs will premiere during the show!

Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11h of May 2024
