Croatia will choose an artist and a song for Eurovision 2024 via “Dora 2024″.
The submission window closed on the 30th of November 2023.
A total of 203 songs have been submitted to the selection process, which is a record number compared to previous years.
According to Croatian broadcaster, “Dora 2024” will be held in Prisavlje, Zagreb. 12 artists will participate in each semi-final:
- Semi-Final 1: Thursday 22nd of February 2024
- Semi-Final 2: Friday, 23rd of February 2024
- Final: Sunday, 25th of of February 2024
The 24 competing acts in the semi-finals are:

- James Night – Nebo Plače (Eng: To Crying Sky)
- Saša Lozar – Ne Plačem Zbog Nje (Eng: I Don’t Cry Because of Her)
- Barbara Munjas – Nepobjediva (Eng: Invincible)
- Lara Demarin – Ne Vjerujem Ti (Eng: I Don’t Believe You)
- The Splitters – Od Kad Te Sanjam (Eng: From When I Dream of You)
- Misha – One Day
- Et – Pametnom Dosta (Eng: Smart Enough)
- Lu Dedić – Plavi Leptir (Eng: Blue Butterfly)
- Vatra – Slatke Suze, Gorka Ljubav (Eng: Sweet Tears, Bitter Love)
- Stefany Žužić – Sretnih Dana Dat’ Će Bog (Eng: God Will Give Happy Days)
- Eugen –Tišine (Eng: Silence)
- Mario Battifiaca Feat. Robert Ferlin – Vodu Piti Trizan Biti (Eng: Drink Water To Be Sober)
- Damir Kedžo – Voljena Ženo (Eng: Beloved Woman)
- Baby Lasagna – Rim Tim Tagi Dim – backup act to be included
The official video-clips will be released tomorrow on Dora HRT YouTube Channel.
They have been first revealed on the Croatian radio last Thursday.
The 3 remaining backup songs (in case of withdrawals) are:
- Cota G4 – Stavi Se Na Mjesto
- Mihael Kvorka – Vrati Se
- Ether – Duboko Roni
Tomislav Štengl, the Head of the Croatian delegation for Eurovision confirmed that Dora will have at least 1 semi-final (probably 2 semi-finals).
The last time “Dora” featured semi-finals was back in 2011.
Among the seni-finalists, we can recognize some common names:
- Let 3 – Represented Croatia at Eurovision 2023
- Damir Kedžo – Was meant to represent Croatia at Eurovision 2020.
- The Splitters participated in “Dora 2023”
- Barbara Munjas participated in “Dora 2023”
- Boris Štok participated in “Dora 2023”
- Saša Lozar auditioned for “Dora 2011”
- Mario Battifiaca participated in “Dora 2009”
- Stefany Žužić competed in “The Voice of Croatia 2016″
- Lara Demarin competed in “The Voice of Croatia 2016”
“Dora 2024″ will be held during February 2024.
The exact format and dates will be known in a due course.
Let3 represented Croatia at Eurovision 2023 with the song “Mama ŠČ!“.
