On the 25th of September 2023, Cypriot broadcaster CyBC revealed 16 year-old Silia Kapsis will represent the country at Eurovision 2024.
Earlier today, the national broadcaster released an official press announcement, where additional details regarding Eurovision 2024 plans became known.
Silis Kapsis will perform the song “Liar” at Eurovision 2024.
The song was created by Dimitris Kontopoulos and Elle Tiel and will be revealed in a due course.
When getting the information about the name of the song and the team behind the song, we couldn’t help but wonder: Is it the same song “Liar” that was one of the top 3 proposals in the Greek internal selection for Eurovision 2023?
Back then, the song was meant to be performed by Melissa Mantzoukis.

The song was said to be a dance pop that talks about women’s empowerment.
While, earlier it has been hinted we will see Silia Kapsis dancing on the stage.
Andrew Lambrou represented Cyprus at Eurovision 2023 with “Break a Broken Heart“.
He ended in the 12th place in the final, with a total of 126 points:
