Tonight Finnish broadcaster YLE revealed the artists and song titles for the upcoming Finnish national selection “UMK 2024”.
7 acts were revealed during the show that was aired on Youtube and YLE Areena with English commentary.
The 7 acts are:
- Cyan Kicks – ”Dancing With Demons”
- Sexmane – “Mania”
- Sara Siipola – “Paskana (Eng: Fucked Up/Wrecked)
- Jesse Markin – “Glow”
- Windows95Man – ”No Rules!”
- Sini Sabotage – ”Kuori mua (Eng: “Peel Me”)
- Mikael Gabriel x nublu – ”Vox populi” (Eng: The Voice of the People)
Cyan Kicks previously tried to represent Finland at Eurovision back in 2022 with the song ”Hurricane” where they finished in 2nd place.

About “UMK 2024” – Known Details
- The songs will be revealed on a daily basis (besides weekends) on the 11th, 12th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th of January
- The final will be held on 10th February 2024 in the Nokia Arena in Tampere. It is the largest indoor arena in the country.
- The comedian Pilvi Hämäläinen, The pop singer (and former “UMK 2023” participants) Benjamin Peltonen and the TV host Viivi Pumpanen will host the show
- The results will be based on a public vote and an international jury.
Who would you like to see representing Finland at Eurovision 2024?
Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024
