Ukraine will choose its Eurovision 2024 act via the national selection “Vidbir 2024“.
The national selection will be held on Saturday, the 3rd of February 2024.
The hosts of “Vidbir 2024” will be: Julia Sanina (Eurovision 2023 host, the lead singer of “The Hardkiss“), Timur Miroshnichenko (Ukrainian Eurovision commentator) and the comedian Vasil Bajdak.
In addition, the Ukrainian public has the opportunity to choose the 3 members of the national jury. 9 candidates were included in the option. The chosen members are:
- Andriy Danilko (“Verka Serduchka”) – Represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2007 (43.79% of the votes)
- Jamala – The winner of Eurovision 2016 (23.62% of the votes)
- Sergiy Tanchinets – The lead singer of the “БЕЗ ОБМЕЖЕНЬ” (12.42% of the votes)
11 artists will compete in the national selection: 10 have been selected by the professional committee, while an additional act has been chosen as a wild-card by the public.

“Vidbir 2024” – Known Details
- “Vidbir 2024” will be held on the 3rd February 2024.
- Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne received a total of 389 songs, from 288 different artists (222 solo singers and 66 bands/groups/duos). More than 15% of the artists submitted at least one song.
57.5% of the songs were submitted in Ukrainian, 33% of them in English, 9% of them in bilingual and the rest (0.5%) in other languages. - The results will be determined by a combination of a 50% public vote and a 50% national jury vote.
Who would you like to see representing Ukraine at Eurovision 2024?
Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024
