Iceland: “Söngvakeppnin 2024” Final Line-Up Has Been Completed

The Icelandic broadcaster RÚV held the 2nd semi-final of “Söngvakeppnin 2024“, hosted by the trio Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir, Sigurður Þorri Gunnarsson and Unnsteinn.

5 artists performed their songs live:

  1. Sigga Ózk – Um allan alheiminn / Into the Atmosphere
  2. Heiðrún Anna – Þjakaður af ást 
  3. Bashar Murad – Vestrið villt / Wild West
  4. MAIAA – Fljúga burt
  5. Hera Björk – Við förum hærra / Scared of Heights

The results were based on 100% public votes.
The 2 qualifiers are:

Hera Björk – Við förum hærra / Scared of Heights

In addition, the professional jury chose to grant a wildcard:
Sigga Ózk – Um allan alheiminn / Into the Atmosphere

With this, the list of “Söngvakeppnin 2024” finalists has been completed:

Who will represent Iceland at Eurovision 2024?
Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024.
Iceland will compete in the second half of semi-final 1
