Portugal held the final of its traditional music festival: “Festival da Canção 2024″
The hosts were Filomena Cautela (Eurovision 2018 co-host) and Vasco Palmeirim, while Inês Lopes Gonçalves hosted the green room.

The Results
The results were determined in 2 rounds:
The results were based on a 50% public vote and a 50% national jury.
Both of them were scaled into the range of 1-8, 10 and 12 points:
Iolanda was first with the jury, and second in the public vote.
She earned a total of 22 points, which make her the winner of the festival.
Therefore, Iolanda will perform “Grito” at Eurovision 2024:

Eurovision 2024 will be held in Malmö, Sweden.
The semi-finals will be held on the 7th and 9th of May 2024, and the grand final will be held on the 11th of May 2024.
Portugal will perform in the second half of semi-final 1.
