Switzerland Announces Internal Selection For Eurovision 2025

The Swiss broadcaster SRG SSR has spanned its plans for Eurovision 2025,
As every year since 2019, the country will stick to multi-stage internal selection.

Swiss Selection For Eurovision 2025 – The Regulation

  1. The submission window will be available for 2 weeks, starting on the 8th of August and ending on 22nd of August 2024.
  2. SRG SSR is looking for a modern, striking song that complies with international
  3. requirements.
  4. Each performer/composer/writer can submit up to 5 songs.
  5. The song will be selected via multiple rounds of selection, involving national viewers, international viewers and 25 international expert jury (who have been involved in Eurovision in the past).
  6. The shortlisted acts should be ready to perform the songs live in front of the expert jury,
  7. The maximal song duration is 3 minutes
  8. Each performer must be at least 16 years old by May 1st 2025
  9. There are no language restrictions
  10. Songs may also be submitted for which a performer has not yet been identified. In such cases, the submissions will be made with a demo singing.
  11. The national broadcaster can ask for changes in the lyrics, melody or production of the selected song,

Nemo represented Switzerland at Eurovision 2024 with the song “The Code”.
They finished in first place with 591 points

Eurovision 2025 will be held in Switzerland.
